Can Double Speedy be used for Classic, Volume, or Promade lash sets?
Yes. Fast professional adhesives can be used across different extension techniques when the artist's placement speed matches the curing time. Double Speedy is particularly well suited to fast-paced Volume and Promade workflows, where quick, precise attachment is important.
Why are my extensions popping off even though I am using a strong, fast adhesive?
The adhesive may actually be curing before the extension reaches the natural lash. With an ultra-fast adhesive, even a small delay after dipping can create a partially cured surface and prevent proper bonding. If this happens consistently, the adhesive may be faster than your current working speed.
Do I need to use a lash primer with Double Speedy?
Proper cleansing and preparation are important regardless of adhesive choice. Primer can be particularly useful when natural lashes have residual oils or buildup. Curacoro's Prime It Up! is compatible with Curacoro lash adhesives except Dark Matter, which includes Double Speedy.
Why does my adhesive drop become thick or stringy during the appointment?
Once dispensed, lash adhesive continuously reacts with moisture in the surrounding air. As the drop ages, it can become thicker or stringy and may no longer perform consistently. Replace it with a fresh drop rather than continuing to work from deteriorating adhesive.
Why can an ultra-fast adhesive sometimes give worse retention than a slower glue?
Faster does not automatically mean better retention. The adhesive must remain workable until the extension makes complete contact with the natural lash. If it cures before placement is completed, the bond may be weaker even though the adhesive itself is high performance. Choosing a curing speed that matches your technique is critical.
