How do I choose between the two diameters at the chair?

Rest a fan against the natural lash under magnification and watch for flex - lashes that visibly bend get 0.05, lashes that hold firm can take 0.07 and will look more defined for it. It takes seconds and it is more reliable than judging by eye alone.

Can I use both diameters within one set?

Yes, and on an uneven lash line it is the better approach - 0.07 on the strong central lashes and 0.05 on the finer inner and outer ones. Keep D count and curl constant so the only variable is weight.

Should a 5D-to-6D upgrade carry a price increase?
