• Seat each base fully and hold slightly longer than you would at lower densities - partial contact is invisible at placement and obvious two weeks later.
• Book infills at 2-3 weeks; at 16D a handful of shed fans creates a visible gap that a longer cycle turns into a rebuild.
• Instruct clients to cleanse daily with a lash-safe foam and to avoid all oil-based products around the eye.

Physically it may be within her lash's capacity, but the aftercare gap is the real problem - a classic client has usually never cleansed to volume standards and will lose the set fast. Run one cycle at a lower density with proper aftercare coaching before stepping her up.

My 16D sets look heavy on hooded eyes even with a good map - what else can I change?

Curl is doing more damage than density there: a strong curl at high fibre count pushes the set up into the hood where it disappears and reads as weight. Flatten the curl through the centre and let the outer third carry the drama outward instead of upward.
