A Gentle Pre-Treatment Cleanse for Optimal Tint Results

RefectoCil Brow & Lash Foam is a pre-treatment cleanser designed to thoroughly remove make-up residue, small dirt particles, and excess grease from the brow and lash area before any professional tinting or lash and brow service. A clean, make-up-free working area is essential for optimal colour intensity, since properly degreased brows and lashes absorb tint more evenly. The creamy, fluffy foam is easy to apply and contains Aloe Vera to keep the skin soft and supple, with a mild, calming formulation that refreshes the skin without drying it out. Suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin, it's designed as a standard first step before tinting, lash lifting, or brow lamination.

Product details

Trend/Popularity: Clients increasingly expect a thorough, spa-quality prep routine as part of their tinting or lash service, and a dedicated cleansing foam supports that expectation better than a basic wipe-down.
Ease & Speed: A quick foam application and damp-cloth removal replaces multiple rounds of cleansing with a generic remover, streamlining the prep step before any treatment begins.
Income Opportunity: Cleaner, better-degreased brows and lashes support more even, longer-lasting tint results, reducing early touch-up requests and supporting client satisfaction and repeat bookings.

Any technician performing lash or brow tinting should use this as a standard pre-service prep product to ensure clean, make-up-free skin before colour is applied. Artists offering lash lift, lash perm, or brow lamination services can also use it as a shared prep step across those treatments, since oily residue affects adhesion regardless of service type. Clients with sensitive skin benefit from its mild, calming formulation, which cleanses without the irritation risk of harsher removers. Studios wanting to standardize their prep routine across all clients, even those without visible make-up, can use it to consistently remove the surface grease that affects tint uptake.

The formula and format are built specifically not to interfere with the treatment that follows.

Creamy, fluffy foam consistency: Easy to apply precisely to brows and lashes without dripping or running into the eyes
Contains Aloe Vera: Keeps the skin soft and supple while cleansing
Mild, calming, non-drying formulation: Refreshes the skin without stripping moisture, reducing irritation risk before a tinting service
Suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin: Can be used as a standard prep step across the full client base without extra screening
45 ml bottle: Sized for repeated professional use as a standard prep step across many appointments

Shake well before use.
Dispense the foam and massage it gently onto the lashes and brows.
Remove with a damp cloth.
Proceed with tinting, lash lift, lash perm, or brow lamination once the area is clean and dry.

Skipping this step when a client isn't wearing visible make-up: surface grease and skin oils can still be present even without make-up, and they can interfere with tint uptake just the same. Use the foam as a standard prep step regardless.
Not shaking the bottle before use: the foam may dispense unevenly or thinner than intended. Always shake well before each use.
Rubbing too vigorously instead of massaging gently: can irritate the sensitive eye and brow area. Use light, even massaging motions to work the foam in.
Moving straight to tinting without removing all foam residue: leftover foam can affect how evenly the tint develops. Wipe thoroughly with a damp cloth until the area is fully clean.
Using a heavily oil-based make-up remover beforehand and skipping this step: oily residue from another product can still remain and affect tinting. Use the foam as the primary pre-treatment cleansing step rather than an optional extra.

Ingredients: Aqua (Water), Coco-Glucoside, Sodium Coco-Sulfate, Alcohol, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Glycerin, Glyceryl Oleate, Citric Acid, Sodium Levulinate, Parfum, Sodium Anisate, Levulinic Acid, Limonene, Potassium Sorbate, Sodium Benzoate, Linalool, Tocopherol, Hydrogenated Palm Glycerides Citrate.

Caution: Contains fragrance-related compounds (Parfum, Limonene, Linalool) that can be sensitizing for some individuals; avoid direct contact with the eyes and discontinue use if irritation occurs.

Does using this foam before tinting actually change how long the tint lasts?

Thorough degreasing is one of the biggest factors in even tint absorption and longevity, so removing all make-up and excess grease with this foam before tinting typically supports a more even, longer-lasting result compared to skipping a dedicated cleansing step.

Is it gentle enough to use on a client with known fragrance sensitivities?

The formula contains fragrance-related ingredients (Parfum, Limonene, Linalool), so a client with a known fragrance sensitivity should be patch tested first or have the area addressed with a fragrance-free alternative if one is needed.

How soon after using this foam can tinting or lash lifting begin?

Treatment can typically begin as soon as the area is fully wiped clean and dry, since the foam is designed as an immediate pre-treatment step rather than one requiring a waiting period.

Why would a technician choose this foam over a standard micellar eye make-up remover?

The foam's creamy, fluffy texture is built specifically for even coverage across brows and lashes and includes Aloe Vera for added skin comfort, whereas a liquid micellar remover is typically applied with a cotton pad and may not sit on the treatment area as evenly during a longer cleansing step.
