1. Cleanse lashes thoroughly with the included unscented Lash Foam Bath and assess lash condition before treatment.
2. Tape the eyelid and place Flat Shield.
3. Mix CysteFlex™ Lifting Lotion with Glueless Lift Powder until a creamy, controlled texture is achieved. Apply Step 1 according to the timing guide and the client's hair type.
4. Reposition lashes onto the selected Basic or Hybrid Shield, then apply Fixing Lotion as Step 2 and process according to the manufacturer's timing guide.
5. Remove processing residue and finish with Nourishing Lotion. For brow lamination, follow the same three-step system while adapting placement and processing to brow hair characteristics.

1. Choosing the wrong shield → An unsuitable shield can create an overly tight or weak lift. Select based on lash length, direction, and the desired finish.
2. Using inconsistent Step 1 texture → Too much or too little powder changes the working consistency. Mix thoroughly to achieve a creamy, controlled texture.
3. Over-processing → Longer processing does not automatically mean a stronger result. Follow the timing guide and assess the natural hair throughout the service.
4. Uneven lash placement → Crossed or poorly tensioned lashes can produce an irregular lift. Separate and align lashes carefully before processing.
5. Skipping hair assessment → Treating every client with identical timing can lead to inconsistent results. Consider natural lash thickness, previous chemical treatments, and condition before selecting processing time.

How do I know when the lashes are ready to move from Step 1 to Step 2?

Check the lash's texture and flexibility rather than relying only on the clock. The lashes should have softened enough to reshape but should not feel overly weak, dry, or compromised; always adjust processing based on the client's natural lash condition.

Why would I choose the Flat Shield for Step 1 instead of immediately using a curved shield?

The flat shield is designed to support controlled Step 1 product placement and softening before the lashes are repositioned for shaping. As with flat shield product can be apply close to the root as possible and it is easy to guide the stubborn lash to lay on the shield.

Can I switch between different shields during the same service?

Yes. The technique is designed around controlled repositioning, with Step 1 performed on the flat shield before lashes are moved onto curl Shield for shaping. The second shield should be selected according to the desired curl and the client's lash characteristics.

Why does the same processing time produce different results on different clients?

Natural lash thickness, condition, previous chemical treatments, and individual hair characteristics can affect how the hair responds. Processing should therefore be based on the manufacturer's timing guide and professional assessment rather than using one fixed timing for every client.

Can this system be used for brow lamination as well as lash lifts?
