What are deep-set eyes?

As the name says it, deep-set eyes are set into the skull. This type of eye shape will result in the brow bone overshadowing the eyes and the eyelids. 

For clients with deep-set eyes, you are going to want to create length right across the lash line with the longest lengths in the middle. This is very similar to doll-eye mapping as this type of eye mapping will give the illusion of bigger and brighter eyes. 

What to consider when choosing lashes for deep-set eyes?

The length of eyelash extensions: for clients with deep-set eyes, you're going to use the longest lengths right in the middle of the eye. You can use the pupil as a good guide to where you can find the middle. You can use lengths between 9-15mm, and it all depends on the client’s natural lashes as you should only be using lengths that are 2-3mm longer than the natural lash. 

The curl of eyelash extensions: clients with deep-set will benefit from using curls such as B curl or C curl as a stronger curl may make the clients lash line too heavy or overly dramatic. 

The facial figures: just like the originality of each client’s eye shape, their facial features will also be different. Make sure you give enough time to analyze your client’s facial features as well. Another great way to help you determine the best lash mapping, curl, and length is just to simply ask your client. Then you can contrast their facial features and what they want to see if it’ll work!
